How do you control coconut disease?
Management. The most effective method of managing the disease is to plant resistant coconut varieties such as Malayan dwarf or Maypan; antibiotic treatment is effective but not usually practical for large scale plantings.

Enjoys being placed outside during hot summer months. Watering: ensure soil is always kept moist but do not soak the plant. Mist every two or three days to maintain high humidity levels. Ideal location: bathrooms and kitchens, south facing rooms.

Nutrient Management :: Coconut. From 5th year onwards, apply 50 kg of FYM or compost or green manure. 1.3 kg urea (560 g N), 2.0 kg super phosphate (320 g P2O5) and 2.0 kg muriate of potash (1200 g K2O) in two equal splits during June – July and December – January.
How do you straighten a coconut tree?
Remove as much soil as possible from under the exposed roots and gently straighten the tree. The roots must be replanted below grade level. Pack the soil firmly around the roots and attach two or three guy wires to the tree, anchoring them about 12 feet (3.5 m.) from the trunk.
