Spiranthes magnicamporum, also called Great Plains Ladies' Tresses, is widely distributed in central Canada and the United States from Ontario to Mexico, with populations in a few East Coast states. It produces 2-3 basal leaves which usually wither by the time of flowering in the late summer or fall.
